Re: Keyboard letters.

I taught myself to touch type many years ago and became reasonably good at it.

Unfortunately, age has wearied me and the years have condemned, and now I keep making mistakes and have to go back and read everything again.

Is there a way to restore them or do I have to buy a new keyboard?
My dear wife got replacements from ebay.

Ez, Girls learn how to Touch Type at School, like I did, I don't even have to look at the keyboard or the screen when typing.

Its good though that you have now memorised the letters on your keyboard.

Same here, Susie Then when I worked in offices for a while, I went on to 'day release' college and did the old dictaphone typing too.

Gosh, that takes me back.

Re: Keyboard letters.

As previously mentioned, Olivia, my cat, pulled a few of the keys off one day and although I have replaced them, they are still sticking up a bit, including the space bar which is really annoying as it makes a horrible sound. I can't seem to get them to stay down.

Re: Keyboard letters.

There are always keyboards to be had in Charity Shops.

A couple of times i've found the right model and harvested the key tops.
