While I agree aren't we all guilty of that, here they refused asylum to a christian, we should all be helping those persecuted in their own countries but we don't.

To say that we do not not true.
But we cannot help the entire world we are a tiny country with troubles of our own.
Israel is an even tinier country the size of Wales .
We and no one else simply cannot take all the poor of Africa it is unending stream .
If we do some will have to suffer and it is our own poor disadvantaged and elderly.
