No not at all we try to live quite simply, things don't interest us at all. We only really replace things when they die and then like a bargain rather than looking for what the Jones have.

I don't know the Jones neither do I want to

I follow my own path and would hate to be thought of as observing any current trend

It is so bourgeois to have the same 'things' as everyone else

I have my feet firmly on the ground, no airs and graces in my house If I need anything I will buy it for me - not because 'so and so' has it. I do think you tend to appreciate things more then than people who have everything.

I don´t try to keep up with what anyone else has. If I see something I like and I can afford it, then I´ll probably buy it, but because I like it, not because someone else has the same. I have no real interest in what anyone else has, everything we have is bought and paid for, I hate owing anything to anyone.

I only buy what I like not because someone else has it and I never buy on tick always save up if its an expensive item that way I never owe anyone anything.tried to educate my daughter and grandsons on this way of life but it falls on deaf ears. I wonder if its an age thing.
