Assuming yor spelln was korekt....I think being suckered is light years away from being the worse thing that could ever happen to you. Notwithstanding anything material you lose as a result..or you dignity...It is actually IMO a very valuable thing to happen as long as it only, ideally, happens once. It teaches you what not to do or who not to believe.
