I always told my students that there was no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers.

Yes, I do stupid things occasionally; usually when I'm doing something and not concentrating on the job in hand.

I do not consider myself stupid, but I do admit I sometimes do stupid things.

I think this probably applies to many other people as well.

I'm exceptionally stupid when attempting to understand some pretty basic things in life that others seem able to master without difficulty. On the other hand I consider myself a talented writer whereas my pals all say they would struggle to put together a few paragraphs of anything. So - all in all - I'm going for stupid because practical tasks are important to life. Writing, not so much.
