Early evening, do you scroll down a thread and find no one online who had contributed midday-ish, is there a peak of activity?

I find evenings usually the busiest, I often scroll down on a thread, to find only me reading it,...

When there is a bit of a tiff on a thread, I find many at the bottom viewing,
