It was Cate, . . I have one of his albums and he was a great loss the the rock-and-roll era, . . the taxi hit a lamppost by all accounts.

Poor young man to come all this way to die but then so many singers of that era died so sadly either in RTA's or air crashes. I was readying about Bobby Darin he was only 37 when he died but he had been ill.
to name but a few who died tragically, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, Patsy Cline and James Dean.
