I think that men are more diplomatic and quit arguing in the full knowledge, internally, that they are right.

Watch out for the small smile, on his face, when he backs down!

They might not even do an "I told you so" when the answer proves their case even years later.

If you state your first word calmly, clearly and firmly having 'the last word' shouldn't be necessary because the first word was the last word
