You know exactly where you are with this olde world (retro) machine. Couldn't be simpler ... the lever/knob up/down, no spring, clockwork turn knob for desired time. No gimmicks, little crumb draw at bottom, looks cool, comes in different colours

I agree d00d. I have the 3 slice one, still going strong after 26 years.
