It's called 'throttling back', it's done to reduce the download speed, and therefore increase the capacity on the network, as more and more people are working from home you'll probably find your speed will drop to allow more users, I have a friend who works for a government department, yesterday they were all given laptops and sent home at 10am, they've set up a new system to work from home if things get much worse. He said they were told to go home and try to 'crash' the system, obviously they want to ensure it will run when they need it. To be honest if it does get much worse then I can see them pulling the plug on internet for joe public, just to keep the country going.Re: Anyone having internet connection problems?
