I think you can upgrade at a reduced price or free when upgrading to fibre (The upgrade to fibre worked out cheaper than what I was paying).

Seems like a good'un - Which? magazine give it a very respectable 78% - their top best buy is the BT Smart Hub 2 with 89% .....

It certainly made a difference to my connection (apart from the recent trouble) but it does seem okay today. I don't know if they are able to tweek things when demand is high. It also copes well with Netflicks via a Roku stick. So far, i have never lost Netflicks or had buffering, same with iplayer and youtube.
