Ahh, now I'm disappointed, I thought, rather stupidly, that you were going to tell me that you were one of those who had been consulted on the changes.
We had it round here, the 'proved popular with residents crap', and nobody can find anyone who was even asked, let alone wanted it!
The latest one is they're going to scrap the collection kit we have, pink bag for tins and plastic, blue bag for paper, black box for glass and cardboard, green bin for garden waste (additional charge) and brown bin for general rubbish, along with a tiny silver bucket for food waste, and replace them all with one huge trolley that has compartments in that YOU, have to put out weekly.
They've gone stupid if you ask me.

Handy if you live in a terraced house of course.

It's no wonder that Britain is disappearing under a sea of crap is it.

Apropos of not much, our recycling bins were emptied this morning (only 2 days late); the black bins were emptied yesterday (8 days late).
