I haven't, Swimmy, but then maybe I am not considered vulnerable because my medical history is boringly good.

You, on the other hand, with all your many problems should have been near the top of the list - so I am surprised you have not had a letter.

Is Guy's operation still going ahead tomorrow? If so - I hope it all goes well.

Hi

Boris is writing to every household ST, not just the Vulnerable.

I have refused self isolation as vulnerable, I have all my PPE from my old job and am quite capable of self medicating, taking my own temperature etc.

My work history is such that I have dealt with far worse stuff than this.

I have absolutely no need of having food delivered.

Guy had his operation cancelled today, something I am not happy about as there is capacity locally, we are not hugely affected.

It is time limited, so he will lose the use of his hand.

Others have had urgent Cancer Operations cancelled.

My heart goes out to them.

I did not realise that, Swimmy. I thought it was just those 'at risk'.

is that a 'possibility' or a definite outcome? Either way it must be very worrying - poor Guy.

Troubled times, Swimmy, troubled times.

I am trying to keep to as 'normal' a life as possible anyway.

Still taking early morning walks - usually around 5.00am - air still reasonably unpolluted and no-one else around.

Regular food shopping once per week.

Enough hobbies/tasks to keep me busy while indoors. Cannot imagine ever being bored.

I do miss being able to go to the market in town for fresh fruit and veg - but Sainsbury's are well stocked - so far.

I miss meeting up with friends - but we are in touch by email and telephone.

We are blessed with lovely neighbours in this corner of the world - so always someone to turn to if help needed but then - it was like that here anyway.

Doesn’t seem any point sending it out when the Daily Mail printed the contents in full, lol.
