Labour leadership contest

According to LBC news this morning, the Labour leadership vote has been put on hold for `voting irregularities` and as consequence of the coronavirus outbreak. A new leadership ballot will be taken later in the year (at least four months according to the report) thus leaving Jeremy Corbyn as leader in the interim even though officially, he has stepped down from the post. The voting irregularity is regarding Angela Rayner who has fallen foul of Momentum who have been actively working against her possible selection as the new leader.

Labour need a miracle to turn around the damage that Corbo did to the party. I can't think of anyone capable of doing it.... which is good news.

Oh NO, not more of old Compo!! Enuf is enuf and considering they dumped the only fully articulate one (Thornberry), its going to be utterly mind numbing in the Commons for the foreseeable future.

Re: Labour leadership contest

We must just be thankful that parliament won't be sitting for the forseeable, or will it?
