This Morning

Remember a few weeks back I said I'd lost my job because I refused to go to London with work? Well this morning I got a phone call, from one of the bosses, "Hi, are you working? " he asked, "no" I replied, "oh, well, would you like a job then?" he asked, "depends on what and where" I replied, "it's Southend, Victoria, railway station" he replied. "no and no" I replied, then hung up.
It amazes me that after being told several times that I wasn't going anywhere near that area, they asked again. They want to put me up in a motel, so there's no food available, all the pubs and takeaways are shut, so you can't eat out, which basically leaves pot noodles and pre-packed pies annd sausage rolls from the supermarket, and they still haven't upped the pay rate.
Obviously someone's getting very desperate!

Desperate and dodgy, not worth putting yourself at risk. Was the farm work not available? Round here they are desperate for casual labour.
