Comedian Eddie Large has died

Comedian Eddie Large, best known for being part of double act Little and Large, has died with coronavirus.

"The star, 78, was a well known face on TV in the 1970s and 80s and was famous for his partnership with Syd Little.

His family confirmed the news "with great sadness" on Facebook, saying he had been suffering with heart failure and contracted the virus in hospital."

I used to enjoy these two, saw them in Blackpool many moons ago. Eddie was a great impressionist, doing many of the names that were popular at the time. I remember they did a really funny Laurel & Hardy impression. Rest in Peace me old son.

Although their humour was very silly, they always made me laugh. Such a shame there are no good comedians left now.

Re: Comedian Eddie Large has died

Never actually thought he was funny , so not a fan ... but it's sad to go into hospital for one ailment and die from another one caught whilst in there.

RIP Eddie.
