Garden Centres Open.

Hi

Are you venturing out to them?

I think they will be heaving and I have grown so much more from seed this year,

By fair means or foul I got all the plants I needed....they might not be what I would usually have but they will do.

I think the garden centres will be heaving too swimmy...not a place for social distancing.

Hi

I got some as well Summer, the ones I could not grow from seed.

A local I have dealt with for years.

A small family business which was suffering.

£50 delivered, cash in an envelope on the door.

She normally sells on the Markets, which are closed.

We need to look after each other.

Re: Garden Centres Open.

Just had a note from the milkman to say the order of bedding plants due to be delivered this week won't be arriving until next week due to high demand.
I won't be going out to garden centres or anywhere else. As far as I am concerned the same risk that existed last week still exists .

If you can’t find the white trailing lobelia Muddy, look for white
Bacopa, it looks lovely in a basket and is a great trailer.

Hi

No floral hanging baskets here.

Mine are all tumbling tomatoes and edible flowers.

Nasturtiums are great in salads.

We ordered from Bakkers Online this year. Good choice and expected anytime now.

Re: Garden Centres Open.

I hate gardening, its just outdoor housework.

I'll buy some of those ready-made hanging baskets and stick some pansies or whatever they are in the window boxes. That's about as far as it goes for me.

I get annoyed at garden centres because everyone shuffles around really slowly and I haven't got time for it. I just want a dozen pansies and a ready-made hanging basket and thats it.

Ponds are alright, but the garden centre ones are always built really badly. I don't know why anyone would want to buy one seeing the state some are in - and those logs that are for lawn edging are pointless. I had some about 10 years ago they looked shite so they went on the log burner.

anyway .... I'm rambling.

back to work
