Lots of Lefty crap in the lefty papers today.

I find that I can't pass judgement, because I don't know to what extent DC discussed this with Boris, etc. and whether they advised him to stay well clear to avoid re-contaminating others.

Did he actually break the law or the Guidance?

Was he given permission?

We need an urgent suply of dummies, for spitting purposes - China will supply?

Personally I have nothing against the Conservative party, I just happen to think they should not be hypocritical and should stick to their own rules.

I agree Donkeyman. I also completely fail to understand the logic of bringing in 2 week quarantine for people entering the UK and yet they allowed thousands of people eg from China and Italy into the UK at the height of the virus? Talk about locking the proverbial stable door...

The problem that Ms Patel faced was a ministry stacked with civil servants that obviously loathed having to abide by the demands being made of them by a Minister intent on making them do what they were told.

I have to laugh at that Omah, as they are self isolating, do you think
they will volunteer to pay the fines, or even report their own
transgression?
We seem to be developing a do it yourself justice system?

I'm sure every high profile individual who broke their own lockdown advice has a brilliant excuse. Was it the Scottish adviser or someone else who was taking medicine to a parent? Still resigned. So should he.

Catherine Calderwood, Scotland's chief medical officer, quit after visiting her second home twice during the lockdown.

Sheer stupidity .....

Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

The press will not let this go purely for one reason and one reason only, and rightly in my opinion too..the government stated categorically that anyone in a household that has got the virus is to STAY HOME and isolate.

If Cummings was worried about other members of his family catching the virus from his wife then he should have made arrangement's to have them removed from the house and stay with either relatives or close friends nearby. He chose neither, instead driving him and his wife 250 miles to his parents in Durham.
