He has lost all credibility .
He now about the same level as those royals who tell us peasants to be eco friendly ( but use private jets themselves)

Have we any evidence DC gave any advice on lockdown?
Boris has been parading a succession of MEDICAL advisers on

Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

The unanswered questions about Dominic Cummings' coronavirus lockdown travels

https://www.itv.com/news/2020-05-25/...kdown-travels/

Why did he need to go 260 miles north?

Did he have Covid-19 when travelling?

Did he stop en route to Durham?

Did he go on a day trip to Barnard Castle?

Why is the PM standing by him?

Was his son cared for by family while in Durham?

Was the childcare caveat to the 'Stay at home' message made clear in Government messaging?
Obviously, I'm not going to include all the answers in the article but I will quote one:

Was his son cared for by family while in Durham?

Mr Cummings’ defence for his actions, along with the PM’s justification for keeping him on, hinges on the belief he and his wife could need childcare if they both became unwell.

In No 10’s Saturday statement setting out what went on, it made no reference to his son being looked after by family members, only that Mr Cummings’ sister "shopped for the family and left everything outside" their property, which is said to be adjacent to the family home.
So, if all that was required was some shopping, he could, indeed should, have stayed at home, like (most of) the rest of us - as a self-made very important person, he must have minions to call on to carry out simple tasks, like shopping .....

There was a news report that he had attended the SAGE meeting on 23rd March around the time lockdown was announced. If you go to the government site location for SAGE you will see that on the membership list two participants have requested that their names are not listed. There are meeting papers but no minutes uploaded. However, according to news reports a month ago Downing Street confirmed that although he was not a member he did attend meetings. Although the government denied he participated in these meetings, SAGE members were reported to have said the opposite. As we do not have the minutes we will never know.

As an advisor it is perfectly normal that he would have made known his ADVICE BUT it would be advice, not a participatory input.

It's time this stupid and failed witch hunt ended and the swamp draining got under way BIG TIME on the atrocious and traitorous civil service. It's gone feral.

Might as well give up and accept in good faith that DC's been shown to have not breached anything. That witch hunt has failed. It's his turn now to help drain the cs swamp

Like I said we don't know the scope of his influence. He wasn't attending in an advisory capacity as he was just meant to be observing but other members have indicated he couldn't help himself.

It won't end and they will have to get rid of him. A tranche of bishops have now joined the call to oust him. It's all about honesty and integrity. People need to be able to trust the government. Why was his behaviour hidden from the public for so long? Would people have agreed to abide by lockdown rules had it been released when he did it?

You have a different version of reality. This is not going away. He has no authority left. How can he possibly carry on when he has become such a joke online?

Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

It has been announced that DC will make a statement and take questions himself. There is much public anger at this given the noises when the reporter at Downing street was talking. There was a protest outside his home. I can't see how he thinks he can survive this and he should resign as it's clearly the right thing to do to stop this distracting from the government's work and making the government look bad :

Of course he was attending in an advisory role! That was his job!
