It may be deemed strange, but there has been a cement mixer (a new one) in our lounge for six weeks now, and a new double glazed window unit in our hall way for the same period of time, I am starting to grow fond of the cement mixers presence.
My advice. Never get involved with a cement mixer, they are hard nuts to crack

You could tastefully decorate it soon SF and save on buying a christmas tree this year. Thrifty ey?
That a good idea GDAD, a huge one, then we could all go round for a slice. Can't just let the thing stand there. He could make our cake, then decorate the mixer afterwards too - dual purpose gadget.
This is the mug my wife uses for her tea, I call it 'The Cement Mixer', I never measured it but I reckon it would hold a quart if tea, she drinks a lot of the stuff as you can see. Two years ago when we were having a new kitchen put in the workers cement mixer broke down and they had to borrow the wife's mug to finish off the job, she was chewing grit for a month afterwards.
Yes it seems they do love their tea Patsy, I was surprised to read somewhere that they are the biggest tea drinkers in Europe per head of population.
I never drink the stuff, the wife says (and plenty more people I know too) that if she doesn't get her tea she gets a headache, how could that be I always wondered.
