On the same day, down in this part of the world there was also a road traffic accident involving an ambulance, which appears to have been run off the road by a car. The Ambulance veered across the road and struck at tree, killing both the Ambulance driver/paramedic, and the patient they were transporting to hospital. In addition, the second ambulance paramedic and a relative of the patient travelling in the back of the ambulance were seriously injured.

The ambulance driver and her 88 year old patient died Geoff, the second attendant and the person accompanying the patient, were both critically injured.
As I said in the OP, a diver involved in a fatal is always arrested, till all is sorted by the police.

The minibus driver has been arrested as well, for dangerous driving.
The bus driver sad he couldn't understand why.

The minibus driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
That is the normal procedure until the investigations into the accident are concluded and then they are either charged or not whatever the conclusions to the cause of the accident are.

Today was the funeral of the young trainee nurse, killed in this awful crash. R.I.P. sweetheart
