Scottish Wild Cat ?

Has anyone been watching 'Winterwatch' ? Among other creatures they have been looking at are Scottish wild cats. The photo, which I took today, is of a cat that we have been feeding for about a year. We believe it lives locally as it always looks well-cared for. The point is that it's markings and colouring are identical to the wild cat. In the program they pointed out that not all cats fitting that description are the genuine wild cat but, due to breeding with domestic cats, they can be hybrids and I believe our cat is such a one. Beautiful cat though.

I say feral as well. They said Scottish wildcats have unbroken lines down their bodies not individual patches, but it is a very handsome cat.

Yes Alan I watched it.

That Cat looked like my last cat Billy, who was also a Feral Cat, although we didn't know at the time when we bought him.

Lovely cat Alan, it looks a normal grey tabby to me.

In 'Winterwatch' they described at great length what a Scottish wildcat looks like and this cat fits the description to a 'T'............but it's not wild and is probably a hybrid.
