Surely you remember the appalling situation where four million votes obtained one seat in the House, thanks to our 'first past the post' system?

And me.

Strangely, I hear people saying they don't like him, but they don't say why.

Seriously? You mean set a new trend?
Only if we can torpedo any other boats heading across to the Channel to the UK... for instance, deflating inflatables.

But is it even physically possible unless you're double jointed or can rotate your head 360 degrees like the girl in the Exorcist?

So true with the FPtP voting system.

But look on the Bright side.

All the other Parties shat them selves when those 4 million votes were counted...a minor Party sneered at by the Lefties and the Righties made with thoses 4 million votes them ALL sit up.

So the old crap that your votes don't count was wrong in this case.

Thoses 4 Million votes forced Leftie/ Rightie Biggots do something that they would never had done.

Very true, but the sad thing is that when those four million voters discovered just how ineffective their votes were, it may have sent the message to them 'don't bother'. I hope not, though.

The only way we're going to get true representation is with proportional representation.

Sure,y it's the same system for all the parties. It could have happened to any of them. The Conservative complained bitterly when Blair instituted the boundary changes but they still managed to win an election.
