Actually Twink, I have done that quite a bit. I used to suffer from hay fever quite badly so there was always a sneeze waiting 24/7. You are right, it does work.

I think that if it is a small sneeze it can help a lot...but if it is one of those sneezes that come with a heavy cold you need a good nose blow.
My chemo destroyed my mucus membranes, so I often sneeze a few times in the morning... and I use that method then.
