No, it's more to do with the rules and regulations the EU seems to put in place, which seem to benefit France and Germany more than anyone else.

One example is that of the financial benefits the French farmers enjoy.
So you do you believe the rules & regulations you speak of were
DELIBERATELY designed for the specific purpose of benefitting
the two countries we are discussing JBR?
Answer YES or NO please??

No it wasnt.

Do your history, Churchill never wanted to liberate europe and then be signed up to a socialist cult

Go to Catalonia, paris, sweden etc .... loads of violence there in the EU. I suggest you take your socialist goggles off and have a good look round. You've been brainwashed too long

Before the euro Spain was selling off its currency (devaluing) to gain access to the euro. Since it joined the euro it's gone down hill ever since.

Italy is almost bankrupt with a run on the banks almost imminent

Yes, I believe they are.

Unfortunately, I can't prove it.

Even at the time I was saying the Euro was a big mistake. It's a good idea to have one currency but not the way they imposed conditions on countries joining which were a point in time. Trying to have a "big bang" Euro launch was simply stupid.

Like you say it was possible to play the system to ensure you could join. But what was the point of that? This is not the way to introduce something that will have such a profound effect on the economies of member states. I have consistently said that this is a mistake of the EU but once they go down that route you cannot go back without destabilising the economy of not just the EU but anyone who deals with them.

I was working on this for a big bank at the time of launch. They were worried the world would end on 1.1.99. But nothing went wrong until much later.

When the time comes those in power like everyone else will be corrupted and corrupted absolutely. In place of peace there will exist a devastating regime, a dictatorship, ruthlessly dealing with dissenters, maintaining its wealth and power at all costs no matter how many innocents are killed to achieve it. It is the nature of man.

The only way to keep humans in check is to keep them accountable to other humans. i.e. within a democratic system that gives all humans a voice and a choice.

Despots and dictators ALWAYS seek to remove that democratic process because it stands in the way of their dictatorial agendas.

Is this not the exact thing we are seeing?

We are in the EU because democracy has been ignored.

We are in the EU through illegal means not through a democratically chosen decision.

We are being refused Exit from the EU by the same dictators

We have been signed up to illegal treaties which mandate that Westminster will effectively be abolished and that we may not oppose the EU. i.e. Removal of the democratic process

The EU itself is run by a group of dictators who will not expose themselves to the rigors of being elected. Again, the removal of democracy.

Throughout history we see the same patterns repeated.

Despots destroy their enemy, which is democracy and in it's stead rule by oppression, coercion, fear, intimidation and in more modern times by taking control of countries' financial systems and judiciaries.

Nothing will change. It is the nature of man.

It is a repeating cycle that sees tyrants rise for a while and then get put down only to then ultimately see another tyrant arise and again be put down.
That's the natural balance of things all the way down the line Realist. Nowt to do with masons but everything to do with human nature. People BS when they want something.
It's like the scorpion and the frog. We cannot help our nature. But the systems we have ensure that those in power can be held to account. Humanity in the west has far more freedom than we have had in past times. Even if our press is totally biased. We don't get lined up and shot when we say it's biased.

Unfortunately populist politics go the other way despite apparently giving people what they want. How do you think a Communist regime overtook China? It was hearts and minds. The oppression came later.

I did several Y2K contracts too it was all a bit of a damp squib.

There is no reason to have a common currency other than to tie countries to the EU. All the Euro is the Deutsch Mark by another name

A common currency makes so much sense. But not under the conditions imposed by the EU and the timing etc. which were short sighed and short termist. but you save a vast amount in FX costs in which there is an industry. It's extremely inefficient to have all these currencies.

I believe currencies are still linked to the dollar in some way and that must include the Euro. But honestly the way we do things is so fragmented that we will never fix all the problems. Like I've said before that's my problem with Brexit. I know the EU is imperfect but leaving is just years of chaos whichever way you do it you have shambles. I can't see any way you can avoid it. It's not what happens overnight from a big bang it's the long term effects. Economic systems need stability, certainty and balance to thrive.

As I said before, this kind of oppression only appears when democracy itself is threatened and removed from the people.
Tyrants cannot survive and prosper when there is democracy for in a democracy they are accountable to the people and if they fail the people choose someone else.

Thus we need only look around us now and ask ourselves what is actually happening?

Is democracy being threatened ? Yes absolutely

How is it manifested?? By a corrupt Establishment refusing to enact a democratic referendum result and pushing us ever further into a regime which itself does not operate democracy.

The EU is a dictatorship plain and simple.

Nobody gets to vote for the leaders.

The European Parliament is just a toothless tiger that has no power to do anything. Thus the voting system for the various European Level Parties is just a sham paying nothing but lip service to the idea of democracy and there to create the illusion of it.

The unelected EC is the body that makes changes, makes the rules, calls the shots. It can not be opposed or removed. It is a law unto itself comprised of dictators who will not expose themselves to the rigors of a democratic election.

The various EU Treaties which are used to shackle EU members states clearly that they may not oppose the EU or its aims and agendas and that if they do the EU can use whatever force is required. Those are the tenets of a police state, an Orwellian nightmare.

We can wax lyrical all we like about aspects of the EU but the fundamental and most core basic issue of freedom remains that the people MUST have a democracy and that leaders are accountable to the people.

The EU does not support this. It seeks to remove democracy and operate without it. Thereby we can determine its true intentions.

We need to be out of it as soon as humanly possible and we should never ever have been in it in the first place.

Out of the frying pan into the fire Realist. You will never have what you think you can get by leaving the EU. You should know by now that things don't work that way. Humans are extremely adaptable. Those in power will be the same whichever way you cut it. It has always been this way.
