Got 4 kippers from Tescos earlier, they weighed 1.3 lbs and cost £4 that's not too bad.

My Mom used to do soussed herrings...I remember ...onions...and a nice smell.

No-cook Monday here: shrimp salad on a hoagie roll, Kettle chips, cauliflower and two mini spring rolls with wasabi dipping sauce. Love that hot stuff!

Just about to have another kipper for lunch, how's this, it's not cooked yet but it only takes 4 mins in the micro on medium heat.

Nothing like Fresh Fish and I love salads and chicken cooked about anyway you can imagine.

Do you have a steamer for the microwave DM ?, it's like a Tupperware container with a plastic tray in the bottom, you put a small amount of water in it then place the tray inside with the fish on the tray, it keeps all the flavours in the fish and cooks in half the time.
