Feeling very satisfied with todays baking

I've had a good afternoon of baking and am feeling very satisfied with myself.
Todays bake was a seeded loaf, a garlic, sundried tomato and creamy blue cheese loaf and and a dozen ginger muffins. Baking is so therapeutic.

Sheila enjoys baking and loves trying new things and I enjoy eating her creations. As i write this I'm eating her savoury tarts - rough puff pastry with a mix of egg, bacon and cheese as filling.......lubbly jubbly.

They all sound so wonderful. I don't do much baking anymore but I do love it when I do.
I must try doing some biscuits and if they are hard my hubby can at least dunk them in his tea.

Re: Feeling very satisfied with todays baking

My kitchen isn't big enough for that sort of baking. I have very limited counter top space, because of appliances everywhere. I used to have a combi micro oven, but that went bust so I now have two separate units. All taking up valuable space. Even the bread maker is in the lounge on top of a metal filing cabinet.

Might have to start extending my kitchen into the lounge.

However, I do plan one day to have a good clear up and then would really like to do some baking, something I've never done.

I try to keep one counter clean of clutter, only thing on it is the dehydrator and that can easily be moved off so I have a clear area. Has to be big enough to get a chair up next to me as missy grace loves helping but can't reach the counter top without a chair.
