Japan's senior cheerleaders

These ladies are in their 60s and 70s'... they are fitter than me!

Video here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-30550583

Cheerleading is a highly competitive and popular sport in many parts of the world.

In most places it is thought of as something young people do. But not in Japan.

In the Japan Senior Cheer Association, women in their 60s and 70s dance and shake their pom-poms in competitions across the country.

I wonder how much of their fitness is attributable to the excellent Japanese diet

Makes you think for sure.

I put on over 20lbs recently and now have a knee problem. Never had such a problem before but a few runs at this 'new' weight for me has resulted in pain. Being overweight is AWFUL. I notice none of the women were overweight. My intention is to get back to being really slim and into my running with a view to never relaxing again. A good diet with plenty of exercise is a sure fire way to stave off injury and to keep your body strong.

Those women are showing the way.

You have to exercise every day and keep your body flexible, I'm no fitness freak but I do my own set of exercises every day without fail, it's essential for good health in my opinion.
Those women do it so effortlessly.
I wish I could get the secret about their hair though, I'm as grey as a badger and not one of them has any grey hairs, what am I doing wrong?
