Re: What makes you feel secure?

Not the right night to ask me, I usually feel very secure down here on a no through road next door to fields but had the police around this evening to ask if I saw anything earlier today .

Apparently someone entered my neighbour's garage at lunch time possibly with the intention of stealing tools, there has recently been a spate of similar thefts in the villages around here .
What a cheek, in broad daylight on an Easter Saturday when a lot of people are at home.

I saw a large white van drive onto the drive and thought it was my neighbours friend, he was home at the time.
They have caught the men.

I feel less secure than usual tonight but Chloe is an excellent guard dog and lets me know if there is anyone around .

Having all my family around me.
I do get scared when I am alone.

Glad Meg has her dog.

Oh dear, that's not good Meg, bit too close for comfort.

They are breaking in sheds here too, then stealing tools to break into the house with!

Good job we have our animals ey. Try not to worry tonight. x

Chloe would wake the dead with her piercing bark I never tell her off when she barks but call her to me and say 'tell me who is there' and she growls ....

They have caught them Meg so you will be fine. Have a hot milk before going to bed which will help relax you. You will feel better in the morning.

A fridge and freezer full of food, food and meds stocked up for hubby and kitty, and a little money socked away.

Re: What makes you feel secure?

less and less these days. There is so much crime happening around the area I live lately it's quite scary. My dog helps me feel secure though because the slightest sound in the night makes him bark and alert us that something may be wrong. He's usually wrong though but I will always take notice of my furbabies protection.
