Cooking bacon

I place the individual strips in the bacon, keep them separate while cooking and turn them to get an even colour and crispness. My sister does the same, but her husband dumps a pound of it in the fry pan and just stirs it all randomly. Drives her crazy! How do you cook your bacon?

Re: Cooking bacon

Grilled or fried, no preference but definitely with the rashers separated to give a uniform colour and crispness. Any other method should be made illegal as a crime against humanity....

Grilled only and spread out on a wire rack, also preferably dry cured proper bacon not the wet stuff in packets which has water leaking out of it and smells/ tastes of saltpetre
