I remember at junior school (I would have been about 8 or 9) hearing one of the teaching assistants come into the hall frantically screaming that "one of the dinner children has fallen into the toilet!"

That was in Bradford, so it couldn't have been you.

Closed the Velux windows while there was a thunder storm with lashings and lashings of hazelnut-sized hailstones battering the glass just ½hr ago. I was imagining the glass shattering and falling all over my head at the time.

Looked in the mirror.

Ye Gods, I look old now.

This last lot has really taken it out of me, even though my mind says I am decades younger.
