We had a strong gale here yesterday and the clothesline support snapped in half, I was just wondering if there is a heavy poll could I borrow it until I get a new one?

Ok what can we gather from the results? Well it looks like I wasn't far off the mark with the original criteria that I had set, which got the majority of the vote with 47%

However, having said that, that leaves half of you who think that perhaps, it was a little too strict, and I think that is enough of a percentage to not be ignored.

So I think we can alter it, to 25 posts and 3 months. This is enough of a barrier to discourage troll-ish behaviour - because whereas previously they would simply need to re-register to get access to those sections, now they would need to re-register and wait a fair while, and also make a number of posts.

How does that sound? I am happy to change it to 25 posts and 2 months if you think 3 months is too much
