Thanks Carol, and for your PM. (Replied to it).Yes, I saw the GP this week. My last blood test results were fine but she's given me another one, check ferritin again, and for FBC.
I begged to go back on the Naproxen for the arthritis, because of the pain and stiffness. She said she doesn't like it, but agreed, and on a lower dose, so 250mg twice a day, rather than 500mg. She also gave me some more Omezaprole.
I asked about my two blood pressure tablets, whether I still needed both. She replied, little changes, one at a time.
Forgot to ask about having stomach checked (?gastroscopy) so will remind her next time.
Belching is back, so it IS the Naproxen doing it. She wanted me not to have it and take pain killers instead, but I told her of my mum who, because of her heart, had her osteoarthritis medication stopped and she suffered so much from the pain! I said I didn't want to end up like her.
I don't know why she can't try another NSAID. I've been on the Naproxen for a few years (went from Reliflex). There must be something else?
Can't make a F/U appt yet as the slots are not on the system. Have to try for 3 weeks from that one, around 20/21 Oct.
