Re: Health risks with Wi-Fi

I bought a Dec phone 5 year back - that night I experienced my first ever nosebleed, we unplugged and boxed it up, no problem since. I very rarely use a mobile its always off, when I use it, I use the speaker and don't waste time on it either.

Aw God!, something else to scare us with, what was it they said about the motor car when it first appeared on the street? The Radio was supposed to make us all deaf and TV was supposed to make us all blind.

Sounds a bit like all the whacko health claims over the years ...
Eggs, too much cholesterol. Carrots and custard apples, too much sugar. Salt, Gluten, MSG, fluoride, juice, Coke and Maccas .... all evil.

Nobody heard of MODERATION ?

I agree though, which is why my house isn't swamped with these gadgets, we have to have these things to an extent

But do we, or is it just another list of "must have's"?
I am sure most of us can remember life before microwaves and mobiles, but we still managed to cook and communicate.

Re: Health risks with Wi-Fi

The air is full of all types of radio transmissions as well as Wi Fi. As a child our family would sit in front of the big glowing Radio on the shelf in the kitchen and listen to the music. The air has always been full of transmissions which over the years have increased dramatically? Rather than damage to humans. The main concern is the ever
decreasing bee population, which I believe are seriously affected by what's happening.

Re: Health risks with Wi-Fi

DSL routers and cable modems that make it so convenient to get online emit electromagnetic radiation in the low gigahertz frequency level—this level of radiation is considered by scientists and health experts as potentially dangerous. In fact, the typical home or office wireless networks transmit radio signals in the same general frequency range as the frequency that microwave ovens use to cook food. Also More scientific EMF studies suggest prolonged exposure to wireless DSL or cable devices cause tumors, as well as memory loss and other forms of brain damage.
But after assessing health hazards from low-level electromagnetic fields generated by radio transmitters, researchers found there is no scientific evidence exposure to these poses a health risk. I would agree with Honey nothing has been proven so I'll also continue to use mine.
