optician visit

Decided it was about time I went to the opticians again for an eye sight test as I have not been for some years. had some good news and some bad news. The good news is my eyesight is well above the requirement for being able to drive with glasses. The bad news is the "puff" test for glaucoma was a bit high and now it is a visit to the DRs for eye drops to reduce the pressure or something.

Still it could have been worse if he looked into my eyes and pronounced me dead to confirm the letter N Power sent me.

We used to be with Npower until we moved and now with another supplier. They totally messed this up with someone else but I got £25 in compensation for the cost of a phone call.

What really really annoyed me intensely was thinking if I worked away from home for several months at a time and my wife got this, think of the distress it would cause.

Whoever made this mistake I feel should be sacked straight away and let them suffer job loss. No ifs buts or because, instant dismissal without question.

On top of that how thoughtless chasing money from executors of a deceased persons estate. Surely they can't be that hard up trying to extract money under such times as these.

This Eve Oliver if that is a real name should also be sacked for authorising such a letter to be posted without checking first

I am with this company also, it seems to me that the bereavement specialist Eve Oliver should retrain.

going by this you are not a customer but a money extracting object to be milked to the nth degree

Legally speaking I don't really know if they can get money from a dead person as the dead person can't defend themselves.
At the least they would have to go to court which would cost them
