Last week I was in a long queue when phoning the hospital about an appointment my husband had. I eventually got to the top of the queue, an hour or so later, and got the message, "There is a problem, please try later". I was spitting bullets.

All the others are trying to get on the bandwagon. You have to be very direct to the point of being rude before they take no for an answer.
