I worked for DWP/DLA but never for War Pensions, so I had no idea of the benefits, either. I've located a latest list here:

War Pensions Rates

https://www.gov.uk/government/public...rating-2019-20

The individual payments don't seem to be that great but an accumulation of entitlements could soon approach £1,000 per week.

Google it.

Or go to www.ons.gov.uk then read, inwardly digest, and try to understand.

With about 37 million in full time work in the UK using "dirty math" shows that around 12 million do earn £50k and above.
And a great many don't .
£50k is a very good salary by most standards .

Indeed ..... ONS say 10% of taxpayers have an income of less than £13,300 ..... ..... while 10% earn more than £53,600 ..... with the rest falling in between .....

It isn't.
I think it could be considered exceptional when thinking of this woman being able to fraudulently acquire an amount of £740 in benefits over 15 years on behalf of her elderly father. We are assuming he was single, but maybe he had 5 or 6 dependent kids and she was claiming for them as well
