Re: Random acts of kindness!
Twink, What a wonderful gesture from a stranger. I bet it made your day and you will remember that kind lady every time you look at your Poinsettia.Re: Random acts of kindness!
Oh I do like these kinds of stories. One day many moons ago, a lovely gent stepped forward and paid for my Sunday paper when he saw me rummaging in my bag for change at the local garage (I did have the money but suspect I was keeping him from his Sunday morning fry-up, or snuggle, or whatever ...) I always remembered that and thought he was so kind ... so just yesterday I gave a lady some money for the parking meter when she was taking her child to the doctor and didn't have enough change. Have to admit, it felt good.Re: Random acts of kindness!
Twink, that's just lovely! I am sure it made both of you feel wonderful.Re: Random acts of kindness!

Has anyone read recently about the couple who lost their baby as she was stillborn.Re: Random acts of kindness!
I am a regular public bus user and anyone that is a regular bus user will know that many times when the price of tickets increase it is not made clear to the public that prices have increased. On my bus route to work it passes 3 schools and a few school children use it everyday. The regular users of the bus know when the prices increase and so do the parents of the school children who regularly use the bus but you always get the odd one or two children who never use the bus but have done on this occasion and they never have the correct money, always being short BUT my town's bus drivers do not let the children on and i have seen them walk off the bus, head lowered. My act of kindness is that when i ever i see this happen, i go up to the bus driver and say i will pay whatever the amount the child is missing. It's always just a few pence, 30p, 50p, nothing substantial. I do not have children of my own but i have young nieces and nephews and would hate see them turned away because they did not have enough bus fare.Re: Random acts of kindness!
