Yes, I find that too, and it's always a strange, unknown number.
On checking the answer machine the calls are international numbers or known scamming numbers. These can be blocked on my mobile but the landline does not have this facility so not answering personally is the best way for me. I am sure that has certainly been responsible for less scam calls recently, by not answering it's then considered not to be a 'live' number.

People who get on a bus, and only then remember that they must pay. In the meantime everyone on the bus must wait for them. This is especially true with women who carry half their possessions in their handbags and they look and look and look for their change purse. Grrr
