I just leave my heating set to come on at 70 degrees F.

I leave it to God after that.

I just over rode the timer as I have washing to dry & it's pouring with rain outdoors & chilly. Must remember to put it back to timer later, else it'll be blowing heat out all night.

I'm surprised that you stick it with 21C. Know what 70F is but I haven't used it since my school days. I know some others do like it.

I don’t normally like bedroom rads on, but when having the service, the engineer turned the CH temp up and now, when I turn that rad on to OFF, it bloody hums!! It only stops if I turn it up a fraction. He said I’d set it too low. I replied I never had a combi boiler before so am still learning.

No heating in my house it is 10.30pm and 25° but the southerly change has cooled things down outside but it is a bit late to throw open all the doors.

Mine went of on the timer at lunch time, but as I haven't got any washing I haven't over rode the timer today. It will come back on around 5 p.m.

Us (about 15 miles South of Ipswich and surrounded by trees) still no heating on. Not even a fan heater for a couple of hours - yet.

But won't be long now. The old cat of unknown age (Snot) has taken to cuddling up to whichever of us feels warmest at the time which is a definite portent of colder weather on the way.
