Shearings Coach Holidays

As someone, who with my wife, has been on numerous coach trips with Shearings, I'm rather taken aback with the prices that are being asked for this year, almost double what we paid for not that long ago. Shearings went bust, and sold the brand to Leger Holidays. What with the lock down, and being unable to trade, are they making up for lost revenue? Obviously, there will be fewer passengers sitting on the coach, due to distancing rules, but it's pretty eye watering what they are charging. I for one will be looking elsewhere this summer, might just go camping instead!

Re: Shearings Coach Holidays

Hubby & I used to go on a lot of Shearings holidays but as you say - the prices are ridiculous now. We won't be going again.

Before they went bust my kids bought us over £200's worth of Shearings holiday vouchers for Christmas.

I have sent my details to the admin who are handling the fall out but not had a reply. This was over a year ago now. I asked the 'new' Shearings if they would accept the vouchers but they won't. They stressed they had bought the name but not the debts.

I'm not at all happy that I can't use my vouchers. I could do with a holiday!!

Have you tried Crusader. As far as I am aware they are still trading, I don't know their prices now because sadly they don't operate in the West Country but they are a really good travel company (better than Shearings in my opinion)

I see you are in Hampshire but hopefully they still do the 'feeder' coaches.
