Re: Age gap marriages. It depends on how old they are mentally I think. I don't know the pair, obviously, but I think they are well matched - and she strikes me as being the more mature one (not a slight on Boris, by the way) but I can see her reining him in if he gets too carried away with his....his....erm.....affable nature
Re: Age gap marriages. My wife is a tad over ten years younger than me. Forty plus years of marriage behind us.
Re: Age gap marriages.
Re: Age gap marriages. When my late cousin was 19 she married a man of 42 - everyone said it wouldn't last - but it did. They were very happy.
Re: Age gap marriages.I am 9.5 years older than my wife and we have been married for 54 years. It was quite a big gap when we were married but it seems to be closer now. Not that I am getting any younger if you know what I mean.
Re: Age gap marriages.Well ours has certainly worked. I'm 68 and my wife Annie is 57. I was 34 and she was 23 when we got together. We only remember one person who made a grubby comment about the age difference They quickly became very familiar with the middle fingers on our right hands.
