Seriously, folks, does anyone actually believe it takes any talent to randomly slap some paint on a canvas ? Even stranger, who would ever buy such garbage and then hang it on their wall ?
"Like a morning of pale spring still clinging to winter's chill." (Tolkien)

Cherry blossoms, green shoots, on a spring background, emerging from a bright, blue-green, chilly winter.

Which of your examples do you think I'm describing?

Admittedly, my perception wasn't entirely spontaneous, but still, it works for me and I like it.

The human brain is capable of perceiving all kinds of 'alien' objects, concepts, phenomena, etc.. We are not restricted to our objective environment.

The psychological medium used in this painting is very clever, if, of course, that's what the artist intended!

LOL! That's actually pretty good, Harbs. Better than mine - which was somebody taking a photograph just prior to the moment of their death!

Might get my ruler and calculator out later to see whether yours works!

When I look at a Jackson Pollock, I think of all the drop cloths I saw house painters throw away. If I had only known.
