seen in a chinese showcase when in China, when asked the value unable to say as pink jade is very rare let alone sculptured like this

Yes gthe chinese are very clever, we were shown a glass case inlaid with jade. To date know one knows how they did it.

That jade sculpture is amazing, RS.
I have a tiny jade horse, not a netsuke it's only got a single hole drilled through it in a straight line, but I can't remember what those are called. (anyone?) It's beautifully carved with it's legs folded underneath it's body.
My American pen pal sent it to me years ago as a present, she bought it in a thrift shop for a few pence.
