Sorry guys and gals!
I was actually out socialising last night (I know I know!!!) hence my disappearance and subsequent late start to the day
I have no idea why the girl brought the flag to school other than to show her friends. I assume she will have been going to one of the Gay Pride events being held across the country.
Regarding supervision, we no longer have schoolyard Supervisors (county financial cuts) so we have two teachers on each break duty instead. We have to cover two fields and two yards that go around buildings so we can't se all pupils, at all times.
Kelsey was spoken to, punished and mum was informed. The boy was also spoken to about his initial behaviour.

I hope this answers your questions

And with veiled threats of what will happen if they haven't got any, no doubt.

Have got some old folding garden chairs if you want them for scrap.

While you're round, any chance of you re-tarmacing my drive?

Maybe if I was doing a job just down the street and had some spare chippings --

If you throw a punch you should be prepared to get one yourself.

Yes that's true Tachyon, if a woman threw a punch at me, I'd let her have the first one for free, but she'd better be prepared to be restrained and roughly hurled to the ground on the second one...
