Same as GPs with their rather silly 10-minute appointment time. Some may have a cold and be given a pill while somebody else might have to have a full MOT with a tube stuck up their arse.
Yes, from me as well.
Do Doctors still do that, here it's the nurses. That is if you can persuade the Doc to let you have one.

Re: Dentists

My dentist gets money for old rope .
Although he is supposed to do a scale and polish he's doesn't .
( because I always go a hygienist of my own volition ) so he doesn't bother .
My checkups take all of three minutes .

Oh dear just read this article on why older people get dentistry problems.
.

Re: Dentists

Why do people like me, who have only three lower teeth have to pay the same for a check up as those with a full set of their own?

Ghastly people.
Can’t speak too highly of our dentist, my good lady had implants done on Tuesday. The service and treatment are really ace but we are paying for it.

Re: Dentists

I love our dentist, he's old school, more like the original dentists were when I was a kid. The practice isn't NHS or Private, it's independent & cheaper than private, but not as cheap as NHS. it suits us, we have been going since it was NHS. It's very hard to find NHS dentists here.

That’s right. It’s just common sense.
The dentist and staff don’t know how much time to book if they don’t know how your teeth are. If you had three teeth that needed fillings, one tooth that needed capping and your teeth need cleaning, this has to be arranged.

Abs yes there would be a lot of complaining patients waiting for their scheduled turn.
