Thanks Nero, as this will be my last visit to Houston for a while, though I would visit some of the surrounding places before coming home...

One place I'd dearly love to visit is the Alamo fort in Texas.

Moli - friends of ours have been to the Dallas aquarium - said it was well worth a visit and it has lots of animals, birds etc - not only marine fish.
Don't know if that is near where you are.
