V is Type 2 and hers is quite easily controlled by medication so, I don't see why The Abbottamus should be treated with kid gloves. On the other hand, and I'm not a supporter of her in any way, shape or form, T. May is Type 1 and THAT, Pixie, is far, far more dangerous to your long-term health prospects.

Fair enough, Percy...but people having a pop at her when she is clearly suffering from "something" health related, is just a bit too unkind for me.

I agree. I'm Type 2 as well and I find it no problem to look after.
I certainly don't talk and roll my eyes like Diane Flabbott, so I don't see how she can make that an excuse.

Being a bit thick is not exactly 'health related', is it?

I have to admit she's hardly thick, JBR. She has an MA in History from Newnham College, Cambridge after attending a grammar school. However, I do call her mental arithmetic ability into question and her acuity when it comes to answering questions "on the hoof" so to speak.

Such qualifications as an MA from Newham are what we used to call San Izal awards for very good reasons.

Re: Diane Abbott - Another Car Crash Interview

Ms Abbott may have type 2 diabetes but it's is controllable with diet since the biggest contributing factor is obesity. The answer is in her own hands.
So far as political ability is concerned she is representative of the quality of politician in the Commons these days. The lack of talent in both main parties is cause for concern, but in particular it is obvious on the opposition benches. The question is why?
