Well let us put it this way, I would play the Rod Stewart one but not the other one, bit dated for my taste.

Plus, Rod Stewart sang his live, what you heard was what you got. The other-one however was clearly made in a studio, played with and enhanced over and over .

So who sang best, who knows.
