Just received an email from Eileen's (Dandysmom) friend Carolyn to say her power is down due to snowstorms in Washington DC. ....... therefore her computer is down!

Fingers crossed they fix the lines over there and we'll see her soon!

My power stayed on but my internet took a savage hit on tuesday night-Severe thunderstorm rolled through the central Florida area. The northeast US is getting hammered this winter.

It doesn't seem right without Eileen here today does it? I am imagining her saying bah humbug! Dashing out into the snowstorm to rescue her paper, cooking up something extra tasty to cheer herself up and a tot of gin in the evening.

I was wondering about that Azz, not knowing a darn thing about kindles I wasn't sure if it would work with the power down, glad it does.

More news from Eileen - they had a terrible snowstorm and power went off last night about 7.30pm (US time). Her house is freezing so Eileen and Leia will be staying with her friend until the power is back.

Her whole neighourhood is down, as well as 49,000 others.

She said she is going mad being offline - her final words were ............ BAH!!!

Thanks for information and up-date Mags....oh dear, poor Eileen, can just imagine her saying BAH!! So long as she and the lovely Leia are ok, and of course everyone else affected by the snow storm. Hopefully, they'll sort the power out quickly for all......
